Olly Day in concert with the Jonathan Wyatt Big Band

As a singer, Olly is regularly supported by the Jonathan Wyatt Big Band. This 22-piece orchestra provides the backing for such classics as ‘Come Fly with Me’, ‘The Lady is a Tramp’, ‘Mack the Knife’ and ‘New York, New York’, as well as playing all the great tunes from Glen Miller and the swing era.

The show has been touring East Anglia since 1994, appearing in theatres, at big band festivals and USA veterans’ reunions. It has enjoyed fabulous reviews for sell-out performances in Hunstanton, Lowestoft and the Theatre Royal, Norwich.

WHAT THE PRESS SAID:

"Sounds like old blue eyes is still with us"
Review: Olly Day in concert with the Jonathan Wyatt Big Band

"One of Norfolk’s most popular entertainers attracted a full house at the Princess Theatre, Hunstanton. A wealth of Sinatra songs and his naughty-but-nice jokes were delivered in Mr Day’s own ‘Norfolk Boy’ camped-up style. Olly’s clear, strong voice evoked memories of the master himself. His relaxed style and stage presence endeared him to the audience. Olly’s version of Ole Man River and Send in the Clowns were among the evening’s highlights."
